In general, the work consists of construction of a head works treatment process including screening and raw sewage pumping; plant electrical and controls in a stand-alone building; grit removal, new Orbal oxidation ditch, two new secondary clarifiers, new ultraviolet disinfection and meter flume with outfall to the Portage River. Replace the sludge dewatering press and support equipment in an existing building. The improvements will also include upgrade of support services such as heating, ventilation, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation and controls and SCADA.
